V-Stitch
Step 1
Yarn over hook and insert your hook in the stitch below. Yarn over hook and pull the hook back through the stitch.
You now have three loops on your hook
Step 2
Yarn over hook – pull the hook through two loops.
You now have 2 loops remaining on the hook.
Step 3
Yarn over hook; skip one stitch and insert your hook in the next stitch. Yarn over hook and pull the hook back through the stitch.
You now have four loops on your hook.
Step 4
You now have three loops on your hook.
Step 5
Yarn over hook and pull the hook through the remaining three loops closing the stitch.
Chain 1 and continue working V-Stitches starting a new stitch with the first leg in the same stitch as the second leg of the previous stitch.
Step 6
The following V-Stitch rows are then made in the chain spaces.
Starting V-stitch
Step 1
Pull your loop up to the height of a Double Crochet and twist it around your hook.
Step 2
Insert your hook in the first stitch/chain space. Yarn over hook and pull the hook back through the stitch/chain space.
Step 3
You now have two loops on your hook.
Step 4
You now have four loops on your hook.
Step 5
Your now have three loops on your hook.
