The first blog post
In all honesty…
when I first picked up that crochet hook and attempted to create my first stitch, I felt a mix of excitement and trepidation. The simplicity of a hook and a ball of yarn held so much potential, but I was acutely aware of my inexperience. The initial stitches were far from perfect, but they were mine. And that is where the beauty of crochet lies; in its capacity to transform novices like me into creators.
french berets
Crocheting one in bubble stitches is a delightful project that pays homage to this classic accessory.
The key to a crocheted beret with bubble stitches is the unique texture it provides. The bubbles, also known as popcorn stitches, create a three-dimensional, puffy look reminiscent of the classic beret’s soft folds.
… And adding a crocheted flower or two just makes it that more personal.
